Appointments
Given the intimate nature of designing a ring or any piece of fine jewelry, we want to provide our clients with a personalized experience. Booking a one-on-one appointment with our team allows us to provide a more informative design consultation to better understand the piece you are looking for.
Each appointment is as unique as the ring that is being designed. There are no rules as to how an appointment is to go. Our experienced team is here to guide you through the design process, and help you make an informed and confident decision.
Engagement Rings & Wedding Bands
If you're interested in designing a ring, we specialize in creating exactly what you're looking for. Step by step, we will help you navigate the custom design landscape, alongside our loose Diamond and Gemstone inventory, to guide you towards picking a stone and design that suits both your style and budget.
To get started, head to our Appointment Booking page and find a time that works for you. During your consultation, you are free to use the time however you’d like- ask questions, try on different styles, and deep dive into our design and creation process.
Our made-to-order pieces estimate to compete in approximately 6 weeks. If you're looking for a project to be done sooner, please get in touch with us as we will do our best to accommodate any rush order requests.

Loose Diamonds & Gemstones
From the Source
Brought to you in the most direct mine-to-client route, our ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones are individually chosen by us, directly from our distributors and cutters worldwide. Over the years, we have developed strong personal relationships with mine owners and cutting houses, allowing us to provide you with a background as to where each and every gemstone in our showcase originates from.
Conflict Free
Our diamonds and gemstones are mined, cut, and polished in accordance with environmentally responsible and international fair labour practices. Each stone within our collection is hand selected in a direct mine-to-market process.
Appraisals
We do not provide insurance through Cavalier, however once your ring has been appraised we suggest filing the documentation to your current insurance provider. If you do not have insurance, we will happily provide a referral to a local and trusted company. We highly recommend having your ring appraised and insured in case of loss or damage.
Third Party Appraisals
Appraisals that we provide at Cavalier are not done in-house, but rather by a well recognized appraiser in Vancouver. We will happily facilitate this for you at the cost of $100 per item.
Re-Design, Third Party Stones and Repairs
We are not currently accepting any third party repairs, re-designs or heirloom projects at this time. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our team at info@cavaliergastown.com.
Out of Town Clients
Our storefront is located in the heart of Vancouver's historical Gastown neighbourhood. We work regularly with out of town clients and are able to facilitate our intimate made-to-order process via phone and email coorespondance with our clients.

Shipping
Canadian and International shipping costs may fluctuate based on current FedEx rates.
